Wind, Fire, Water and Earth

No, that is not a line from the movie "The Fifth Element".
However, it will be the future of our energy supply here on our planet.

WIND

We know there is wind power. Windmills are getting more and more efficient. New designs are more wildlife friendly as well as super quiet. These new generation generators need very little wind to create a good amount of electricity. A far cry from the traditional propeller on a pole that most of you are accustom to seeing.

A cross between a Savonius and a VAWT (Vertical Access Wind Turbine) a new company called appropriately, Helix Wind
http://www.helixwind.com, might have the key to all of our windmill dreams. A lightweight wind catcher from 360 degrees could possibly be common sight on every house on your block. It is versatile to even be used in urban areas. It's design is on the edge of "art meets function".

FIRE

Or the Sun in this case. Solar power is nothing new. But, the crossbreeding of other free energy generators could be the next generation of being able to live off of the grid. For instance, imagine a windmill that moves when there is no wind. A small solar panel powers a small motor to turn your windmill when the wind slows down below a certain speed. So as long as you have Sun or wind, you can have power. New types of solar panels are also being created. Ones that take advantage of heat as well as light to convert into power.

WATER

Not everyone has the luxury of having a running brook in their backyard, but if you did, you would have eternal power. Now before you go and try to stop a speeding bullet, I was speaking of eternal electrical power. That is, unless the brook dried up. But let's take a look at another untapped water source. Rain. Yes rain! Rainwater harvesting is widely used in Europe as well as the Tropic Islands. Large cisterns mounted on rooftops collect the rainwater, then the water can be used for gardening, toilets even drinking water once it is properly treated. But this collection of free water could also be used in conjunction with our solar/ windmill.
So, let's get this straight. When there is no wind, there is a backup solar panel to keep the windmill going. And if there is no wind and no Sun, there is a backup water tank that can be automatically opened to a small diameter pipe that turns a small waterwheel that turns the motor that makes the windmill turn.
Phew!
Of course this rain water can also be your free fuel for your hydrogen generator.

EARTH

Good ole Earth. Everywhere you look, there seems to be a force of nature. These forces are free energy. The Earth has many of them. One untapped energy that the Earth gives freely, is gravity. An energy that works twenty four seven and never ever takes a break. Now I would be lying if I told you all, that I have tapped this free source, but the potential is definitely there. Are you beginning to see the point I am trying to make? The future of free energy is the cohesion of many free energy sources working in synergy. Or if I am allowed to coin a new phrase... Frenergy!

MISC.

I just purchased plans for a super efficient generator that you can build yourself. I am going to make a dual generator to give me 220 volts AC @ 60 Hz. and 120 amps. If you want to purchase the plans yourself, go to http://www.fuellesspower.com

They also have several other cool plans. All of there plans are kept as a tightly guarded secret. And if you need any help attempting to build their projects, don't think you can just call or Email a question, because they claim that they are way to busy. Anyway, I will post the results of my generator when completed. It is supposed to be super efficient and low RPM's to generate high voltage. If it works, it should be perfect for a Helix Windmill.

Until next time.
Don't spin your wheels, unless your generating power.

"If every Motel 6 turned off that light they left on for me, it would be enough power to run my house for 20 years."
